This six-page letter is a commentary by two activists of the Canada Haiti Action Network. It expresses concern over the limited range of information on Haiti that the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development of the House of Commons received at its session of October 18, 2011 devoted to Haiti. It provides links for detailed reading on the situation in Haiti and makes suggestions for broadening the range of iinvited witnesses at future sessions of the Committee.

Canadian delegation to Haiti reports back
August 4, 2011--Three Canadians conducted a ten-day fact-finding and solidarity mission to Haiti from June 20 to 30. The delegation, organized by Haiti Solidarity BC, the Vancouver affiliate of the Canada Haiti Action Network, traveled throughout the earthquake zone, including Port-au-Prince, Leogane and Jacmel.
